Hallowe'en

Georgia's First Hallowe'en

Although too young to eat candy and to trick or treat, she is definitely not too young to dress up and be the CUTEST Tigger ever!

Growing Up

Georgia is now 7 weeks and 3 days old, she is growing like a little weed...a pretty weed that is! Georgia loves playing on her back and her belly and smiles and giggles so much already! She loves her food and is feeding so much. We only hear from her when she is hungry and she sleeps a good 8 hours a night. We are very blessed to have such a good and happy baby girl.
Georgia loves fishing, we have been up to the cottage a few times and she sits on the dock with us as we fish or she sleeps in her chair when we fish off the boathouse. She is so vocal and we can't wait to hear what her little voice is going to sound like...(actually we can wait, we don't want her to grow up fast).

Georgia's Arrival

She's Here...
On September 7, 2007 at 12:46am, after 16 hours of well worth labour; baby Georgia finally arrived weighing in at 8lbs 3oz and 19 3/4 inches. She was one week late...I think she'll be stubborn just like her parents :)
We arrived at the hospital at 8am and they broke the water at 8:30am, hooked me up to an IV and by 9am I was contracting and we were on our way to being parents!
I'm trying to figure out what to type, but the reality is words can't express what we felt when we saw her and held her for the first time. Even now we find ourselves just staring at how perfect and beautiful she is and still grasping the reality that we made her and she's a little 'us'.
We are up once a night with her, she feeds well and sleeps like a champ! We couldn't have asked for a happier baby!
We hope you enjoy the pictures, and stay tuned as I promise to keep this blog up to date and make for frequent entries.

Almost There....

Almost There....

With 17 days to go, we are getting more and more excited, nervous and eager all at the same time. We can't wait to see the little tiny toes on the feet that are constantly kicking me :) and finally get to see what she looks like and who she looks like. Her room is all ready for her arrival and so are we.

We had our first braxton hicks contractions last week, was kind of funny now looking back on it. I called my friend Crystal who just had her first baby girl 7 months ago, asking her all kinds of questions and what is this feeling and what is that feeling...? Haven't had anymore. We have stopped going up north now as it is a 2.5 hour drive and we want to be close to home for when she decides to join us.
With every morning that comes I wake wishing she was here as sleeping or just being comfortable is next to impossible. Scott is forever telling me to stop, rest and put my feet up as they are absolutely massive and now my hands are swelling also...178lbs never felt so good and acceptable haha!

My (Tracy) side of the family will be complete on Tuesday evening as my parents are coming from France, so both our families will be here, ready and waiting.

Baby Showers

GEORGIA'S BABY SHOWERS - JULY 2007

Hello all, this is Tracy. I will apologize before you continue reading, as I have never wrote on a blog before, so forgive me if I ramble, or if I don't say enough. ENJOY

We had our first baby shower on Sunday July 22, 2007 and I don't think we realized just how much stuff we were going to get. The evening of; took a lot of organizing and re-organizing to make everything fit..or I was just really picky haha!

I think this is when the reality set in that "yes we have to move soon", we are over flowing and our baby girl isn't even here yet.

The day was great, it was hot, sunny and blue skies. This shower my(Tracy) sister Paula arranged for my friends and her & I (My parents live in France), and we had about 18 people show up and share our day. So many cute little outfits, toys, exersaucer, swing all the things to help us along. Showers I found to be extremely over whelming...its so nice to see all the people who are in your life come together and share these happy times. We played games, ate good food and enjoyed the sun and everyones company. It was an amazing day.

Steph hosted the 2nd baby shower in her new home on Wednesday July 25th. There were about 12-14 people there, it was another overwhelming night. Stephanie hosted the 2nd shower for Scotts family and friends of the family and it was really nice to meet these wonderful people who have been in the Mill's family and life for years!
At this shower there were tons of little tiny pink outfits and toys and the stroller/car seat, high chair, bedding and vibrating chair.
After both showers I think this little baby girl is in for some spoiled years, she has some amazing family members (2 more to meet) and friends who can't wait to meet her in her life and needless to say an amazing set of parents :) hehe

All the things that could be assembled from the showers....are! I got so excited after the showers that I just had to put it all together and put everything away!

I will post pictures from my sisters shower now and the pictures from Stephs in a bit when they are loaded.

Almost Here

Well its my first entry, thought i would start a blog for when my new baby girl get here. Her name will be Georgia Llewellyn Mills, my first. The mother(Tracy) and I have been dating for four years and are really happy about our new little bundle of joy. Georgia is expected to arrive on Aug 30 2007. I will try and be active as possible on the site, and I am sure Tracy will want to be writting in here as well. Hopefully all our friends and family will enjoy reading our trials and tribulations with our new first baby. Thats it for now, I will post some pics of Tracy and I now to kick off the start of a new blog.
